Our Research and Evaluations

Our Rooms at Ham Green House

NatureWell and Natural Academy’s wider work sit in a growing field of practice where evidence matters. Not as a box to tick, but as a way to learn what truly helps, to refine practice, and to strengthen the case for nature-based approaches across health, community and environmental sectors. Our research and evaluation activity explores how applied ecopsychology supports personal wellbeing, community resilience and ecological reciprocity, guided by a commitment to One Health: people and nature recovering and thriving together.

Through the Natural Institute, we collaborate with practitioners, organisations and systems partners to evaluate real-world programmes and translate learning into best practice. We are also developing an academic partnership with Swansea University and the Sustainable Wellbeing Research Group, where Natural Academy acts as a practice partner across a range of NatureWell and ecotherapy research projects.
